I agree with your sentiment about our Southern border / illegal immigration (ie., get back to Trump Admin. policies and more to stop this crap), but, I’m sorry, your argument from there is hogwash.
First, only a complete moron could be significantly “distracted” from the border issue by the Ukraine war.
Well, I suppose that includes Brandon, but he’s not the “effector” of the actions needed on the border, and it’s highly questionable the present policies are even rationally his. And in any event, what needs to be done does not have to be “figured out”, we all know what it is. The #1 thing is to make these people unemployable in the USA, and unable to get gov’t benefits (besides a trip back to Mexico City or wherever useful and not grossly inhumane — I would not just dump them in some desolated, remote spot.)
2nd, even if we needed, say, HIMARS on the Southern border (ridiculous), we actually increased our stock of such in 2022, and will do so again (even more so) in 2023. Whatever modest military gear we might need along the border we have VAST stocks of. But again, the real solution is to kill the “attraction” at its (economic and legal) roots.
So, if I can’t solve it to your satisfaction, my view on it can be dismissed by you? Because thats what your loaded question is all about.

Currently there are no missiles openly advertised by NATO in Ukraine with ranges capable of anything past the Kremlin. The missile sites are there. The capability that the next missile pulled off the truck is one capable of striking any target in Russia is assured. The Russians are told not to worry, trust us. This is only part of “defeating Russia” and “forcing regime change in Moscow”. lt’s empty headed globalist stoogery like this that will get us all killed.

Federal spending is not the answer to our “spiritual infrastructure...collapsing around us”. Defense spending is constitutional unlike much of what bloated Washington spends money on. Federal spending is out of control but not defense spending when we have adversaries in the world.

In an ideal world, I would try Putin, Biden and Zelensky for war crimes and genocide and execute them. Putin for the invasion and genocide and legacy building before he dies. Biden for an undecpared stealth proxy war, disabking our military via arms transfers and the hidden biolabs in Ukraine. Zelensky for the biowar conspiracy and genocide of his own people in a proxy war with America.
