Adding, “This is a person who wants to indict me. She’s got a lot of problems but she wants to indict me to try and run for some other office,’ the former president went on at a campaign event in New Hampshire, ‘wants to indict me for a perfect phone call. This is even better than my perfect phone call with Ukraine.”

Who else could it be?
There are a lot of peopl that “want to indict him”. Many of them have problems. Some might have had an affair with a gang leader.
He could be talking about thousands, or millions of people.
This is the type of stuff that turns people off. Maybe not the true Trump acolytes, but the regular republicans and independents he needs to win the general, yeah. He’ll probably win the primary because of the aforementioned acolytes, but they won’t put him back in the WH.

BTW, I’m a little tired of the “that’s just Trump being Trump” trope. Mark Davis in Dallas uses that line (sort of sheepishly, like he knows it’s not an excuse) and though I love Mark Davis, it’s wearing a little thin.

First, Trump is facing unprecedented legal challenges.
Second, Trump did not become a millionaire by accident. It’s probably safe to bet that he knows something about someone.
That someone has nothing to worry about if the allegations are false.
If the mainstream compliant media are all over Trump about a person he has not even named, then I would be inclined to bet that Trump has something on someone, and in theory could drop a media bombshell on that someone at any time.
That someone is being squeezed to deny an allegation right now. If she (or he) denies it, and Trump has proof of it, then the special someone is trapped.
If that someone is in a position of public trust, then her or his power assumed by that position is correspondingly eroded.
Why are we fighting about the only Republican talking truth of accusations and accusers ?
There’s nothing helpful about this. NOTHING. He really does want to be nominated and lose then spend his last years in any number of prisons. Smh
