That's a good solution. It probably wouldn't work in the area where I live ... because we have dozens of employers competing for the same workers.

Some of the big industrial employers around here deal with this challenge by using 15-passenger vans to shuttle employees from 50+ miles away.

Pay more. People will relocate for better opportunity. I have done that 4 times in my working life.

Many, many "right-wingers" do not believe in the free market for labor and wages. Many of them are right here on Free Republic.
