An IRS special agent was killed during an accidental shooting by another agent during a training exercise Thursday, according to ABC15 sources.

In a statement released Thursday evening, FBI officials confirmed they are investigating the death of an IRS special agent but did not share further details about what led up to the incident.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) says it is investigating a "shooting incident" at the Federal Correctional Institutional (FCI) Phoenix firing range Thursday afternoon but could not confirm additional details.

The FBOP says the gun range was being utilized by multiple federal agencies at the time.

The IRS has confirmed that an agent was taken to the hospital after the incident and did not survive.

ABC15 sources say the special agent was shot by a fellow agent.

What do you call it when one Fed shoots another Fed?

A good start

The trainining session came to a desirable conclusion rapidly because the agent didn’t go postal, he went FedEx.

Being an IRS agent, he was wondering what would happen if someone attepted to use the thing to be found in the loophole.

Well, it seems that one way to reduce the number of IRS agents is to give them guns.

The mafia has a greater respect for the limits of power, personal rights, justice, and that shooting cows or even taxing cows doesn’t increase milk production in the long run.

There’s no reason for this type of training other than shock troops, brown shirts, or whatever you want to call them.

Yep. Why does an accounting outfit require use of deadly force?

~~~
It’s a rhetorical question, but the logical answer is, when you have to take wealth from people by deadly force, or threat of it.
When you run out of other people’s money to take, because you’ve spent your country into oblivion, and your high spending has caused not only less to be able to tax because you’ve inflated your currency’s value, and also that same inflation has sapped all the free liquidity out of your population, you have to start seizing whatever property they have left.
One would have to be negligent and ignorant and completely oblivious in order to shoot someone else at a firing range. By following even only one basic safety rule, it would have been avoided — the shooter must have violated all safety rules at the same time.
LOL! Certain people should not have guns. Looks like “going postal” is on its way out. “Going tax audit” will be the next big thing. The way things are going right now, I see well over half of these armed auditors being illegal immigrants.
