“I guess this is what Texas voted for.”
The issue with wind power is that at extreme heat or extreme cold, wind speed tends to drop down.
So you have an energy source that tends to zero when you need it most.
Brilliant !
Both Texas and CA are heavily dependent on wind power. Regardless of the ideology behind it, the effect on electricity generation is the same.

We Texans did not vote for wind and solar power.
It was forced upon us under the fed green agenda.

I guess this is what Texas voted for. I don't recall seeing ERCOT on any ballot...

I remember when everyone thought Texas' deregulation plan was so brilliant.
Texas is still feeling the fallout of that scam.

Trump carried Texas hugely. So did Abbott. That's why they're suffering the consequences.

It’s an historic heatwave. This too shall pass. Too many illegals on the grid anyway.

Abbott and the Republicans need to know that the first rolling ERCOT blackout will signal the beginning of an unending mockery, ridicule, and demand for their resignation. They’ve had their six.
