It’s the media. They believe what they see is real. We had a speaker at our church from the South Pacific a few years back. He talked as if 1950’s movie America was a point of reference. I had to tell a business associate that slasher movies weren’t real after he was reacted in horror that I took a cross country trip on back roads. He was from east Asia.
