In Her Jan. 6 Courtroom, Judge Who Will Hear Trump's Case Is the Pot Calling the Defendant Incendiary
RealClearInvestigations ^ | 8/23/23 | Julie Kelly

Posted on 08/23/2023 7:56:25 AM PDT by CFW

At her first appearance in the criminal case against Donald Trump for his alleged attempt to overturn the 2020 election, U.S. District Court Judge Tanya S. Chutkan repeatedly warned the former president’s lawyers that politics would not be tolerated in her courtroom.

“The fact that [Trump is] running a political campaign has to yield to the orderly administration of justice,” Chutkan said during the August 11 hearing. “If that means he can’t say exactly what he wants to say about witnesses in this case, that’s how it has to be.”

But even as she warns Trump about his “inflammatory” language, Chutkan has routinely issued politically charged rulings and made incendiary statements of her own while presiding over some 30 cases involving Trump supporters charged in connection with the Jan. 6, 2021, melee at the U.S. Capitol.

A review of thousands of pages of hearing transcripts reveal that Chutkan has repeatedly expressed strong and settled opinions about the issues at the heart of United States v. Donald Trump – the criminal case she is now presiding over.

These include her public assertions that the 2020 election was beyond reproach, that the Jan. 6 protests were orchestrated by Trump, and that the former president is guilty of crimes. She has described Jan. 6 as a “mob attack” on “the very foundation of our democracy” and branded the issue at the heart of the case she is hearing – Trump’s claim that the 2020 election was stolen – a conspiracy theory.

Julie Kelly is an outstanding investigative reporter. Trump and the January 6th defendants' attorneys should be consulting her in regards to the corruption of the DOJ and the D.C. judges.

Judge Chutkan should be removed from the bench altogether, but at least from any case related to President Trump or the defendants being charged in the January 6th Capitol protest.

False. Trump has a 1st Amendment right to political speech, and if the judge tries to interfere with that, she is breaking the law. And if she didn’t want Trump being free to talk about the case, she should not have brought a political prosecution against him during a political campaign. Now everything about the case qualifies as political speech, thanks to her.

Chutkan repeatedly warned the former president’s lawyers that politics would not be tolerated in her courtroom?

Too late for that. She already exists to serve the Democrat Party.

This bimbo, Chumpkin isn’t even an American. She might have a piece of toilet paper saying she’s a U.S. Citizen but she’ll never be an AMERICAN.

She should recuse immediately for conflict of interest, or be removed for the obvious bias she has.

What a mockery of justice.

“If that means he can’t say exactly what he wants to say about witnesses in this case, that’s how it has to be.”

That’s the level of intelligence and knowledge about our constitution that comes from a negro that has benefited from affirmative action. She is deficient in every respect. If I was a manager at a fast food restaurant I would not hire her. She’s not even up to saying, “do you want fries with that?”

Chutkan is a member of the Zulu Tribe.
That’s how most of the Zulu Tribe thinks.

An astute judge ruled the rights of a Michigan farmer were violated when a city barred him from a seasonal market because of his opposition to same-sex weddings at his Country Mill Farms orchard he often rented out for weddings.

East Lansing’s decision to exclude Steve Tennes and Country Mill Farms in 2017 “constituted a burden on plaintiffs’ beliefs.”

U.S. District Judge Paul Maloney brilliantly applied a U.S. Supreme Court precedent to the case, “Plaintiffs were forced to choose between either following their beliefs or be denied a “government benefit” for which they were otherwise qualified,” Maloney said.

The judge’s ruling represents a critical victory for religious freedom,
an embedded right that progressives have been attacking for years.

The ruling could set a precedent b/c it applied a U.S. Supreme Court precedent thusly:
“Plaintiffs were forced to choose between (a) following their beliefs and (b) a government benefit
for which they were otherwise qualified,” Judge Maloney said.

This decision highlights how liberty-minded Americans can fight back against the authoritarian left’s obsession with
punishing people for exercising.......or merely articulating their beliefs.......ala Trump.

OBSERVATIONS
Chutkan should be served notice: SHE DOES NOT HAVE have the monopoly on political conversations that she apparently think she has.

Trump has every bit of a right to engage in political conversations.

She cannot force Trump to choose between (a) his right to defend himself and (b) his right to engage in political conversations.

Chutkan should reread the Trump case......he has NOT been charged with being an “insurrectionist.”

Chutkin is just another Leftist, corrupt judge who will do the DOJ bidding during the trial. Such a hypocrite to say politics have no place in her courtroom when there will be nothing but politics from her and the DOJ during the trial. Judges, (and I use the term loosely) like her will very likely be the cause of a hot civil war if one ever comes.

A probe into Chutkan’s vituperative prosecution of Trump could lead to her impeachment.

Chutkan’s brazen uncalled for remarks treats Trump as if she’s already decided he’s guilty.

We need to know who she’s talking to......and if she’s receiving orders from “somebody.”

Subpoena her phone records, her incoming and outgoing email,
snail mail, her calendar notes, etc.....and those of her staff.

And just what the hell does this "judge" believe this case is all about??? AN ILLEGAL PROSECUTION OF A FORMER PRESIDENT FOR POLITICAL PURPOSES! It's a constitutional republic if we can keep it.

She has no business on that case. Personal animus as well as political prejudice motivates and controls her:

2017 is when this happened. It’s personal for her.

PAYBACK: Obama Crony Judge Chutkan Gets Booted from Fusion
GPS Case After True Pundit Exposed Blatant Conflicts of Interest

For several weeks True Pundit has hammered U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan including her blatant conflicts of interest in the Fusion GPS case.

On Thursday the United States District Court for the District of Columbia re-assigned the Fusion GPS bank record case to a new federal judge, removing Chutkan from making any additional decisions on the case. This is highly unusual move but in this case quite necessary.

Chutkan was presiding over a case that could implicate Barack Obama. She donated campaign cash to Obama. After his election, he appointed both her and her husband as judges. Other Chutkan family members also contributed to Obama’s political coffers.

The mere fact that Fusion GPS’ bank records could implicate Hillary Clinton and her former boss Obama is reason enough to believe Chutkan would opt on the side of The Swamp, in an effort to further protect Obama and his cartel which at this point may or may not include the federal judge who should have recused herself from the case.

Just days ago the Obama crony helped Fusion GPS seal their financial records to keep its clients secret, after Congress subpoenaed the financial records.

Chutkan has a history of not recusing herself from cases with a direct and personal conflict so why would she stop now. She presided over a Homeland Security case without notifying the court or plaintiff’s attorneys she had a close family relative who works for DHS.

Judges may not preside over cases in which they have a direct personal bias or financial interest concerning a party to the case, according to federal law.

But Chutkan is the D.C. District Court’s poster girl for conflicts.

No one else in the media seemed to care very much about that fact, which is telling in itself.

One of the True Pundit stories — published Oct. 29th entitled CRONY: Obama-Appointed Judge Seals Fusion GPS Bank Records; Ruling Insulates Obama, Clinton, FBI — went viral.

So True Pundit is taking partial credit here for the unorthodox and court-mandated recusal. Simply because this story was ignored by the media.

The Fusion GPS case has been re-assigned to Richard J. Leon, a Senior District Judge for the District of Columbia. Leon was not appointed by Obama.

Chutkan is presiding also over the Imran Awan and Hina Alvi bank fraud case in D.C. Chutkan made headlines when it was reported she was appointed to the federal bench by Obama after she kicked thousands in campaign donations to his presidential campaign.

Obama also appointed Chutkan’s husband, Peter Krauthamer, a judge to the bench in the District of Columbia Superior Court in 2011.

Chutkan was born in Jamaica. She lived in Jamaica, the Bahamas, France and Spain before coming to the United States, federal law enforcement sources said.

Chutkan’s former law firm, where she worked until her appointment to the federal bench in 2014, currently represents Huma Abedin, the wife of disgraced former Congressman Anthony Weiner.

The firm also is stacked with Democratic lawyers who worked for Hillary Clinton, John Podesta, and Barack Obama’s White House, just to name a few D.C. insiders.

““The fact that [Trump is] running a political campaign has to yield to the orderly administration of justice,” Chutkan said during the August 11 hearing. “If that means he can’t say exactly what he wants to say about witnesses in this case, that’s how it has to be.””

The orderly administration of elections is unimportant to her, at least where the ruling class disapproves of a candidate and she can help muzzle them.
