This ruling means Trump will be denied to have his case moved to federal court.

“This ruling means Trump will be denied to have his case moved to federal court.”

So in your mind, every judge rules the same way?

Interesting.

Why did you take a valid point (about all judges not thinking alike) and turn it into a smarmy attack on the poster? And assume to read his mind?

I *think* that once a federal judge is assigned to hear an appeal in a case, that judge stays with the case.

I *think* that if President Trump appeals to have his case moved to federal court, this same judge would hear that appeal, too.

So, the question is, if the judge rejected the appeal from Meadows, why would you think that the judge would rule any differently when any of the other 18 defendants makes the same appeal?

Good analysis. Meadows could, and should appeal though. The Federal Government is central in this case and most defendants were fed employees at the time.

He could. At the appellate level, an appeal is initially heard by a district court judge. An appeal after that goes to a panel of three judges from the circuit court of appeals. The after that, the defendant can appeal to the entire circuit court. After that, the appeal goes to SCOTUS.

Trump was always going to have a harder case for removal.

Jones could never be considered a failed lawyer because he was never offered a decent job. He went into the judicial system where EEO is a fact of life; Jones is an example of why our judicial system is so pathetic.

Is this cause enough to petition the SC for an immediate stay?

Fani Willis just requested a trail date of Oct 23 in Fulton Co., citing defendant Chesebro’s request for a speedy trial.

He had said something to the effect of, ‘I don’t want people to know we lost, Mark, this is embarrassing, figure it out, we need to figure it out, I don’t want people to know that we lost,’” Hutchinson said.

Tsk tsk tsk.

This ruling means Trump will be denied to have his case moved to federal court.

Not necessarily the case. The judge just rules that federal law doesn't allow for staying a state criminal case while removal proceedings are argued in federal court. Not a ruling on the actual merits of removal.

Thanks for the info. I expect it will be appealed until the feds pick it up. At least I hope so, as it would be a better venue for several reasons IMO.

I agree and this all could be stayed at the very last minute for many different reasons.

I’m not saying it WILL but it COULD.
