Musk Blasts ‘Weasponized’ DOJ after It Sues SpaceX for Not Hiring Refugees
Daily Fetched ^ | August 25, 2023 | Jason Walsh

Tesla CEO Elon Musk blasted Biden’s ‘weaponized’ DOJ after it slapped SpaceX with a lawsuit for not hiring asylum seekers and refugees.

According to the lawsuit, the DOJ found that “SpaceX failed to fairly consider or hire asylees and refugees because of their citizenship status and imposed what amounted to a ban on their hire regardless of their qualification, in violation of federal law,” Assistant AG of the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division, Kristen Clarke said.

“SpaceX recruiters and high-level officials took actions that actively discouraged asylees and refugees from seeking work opportunities at the company,” according to the complaint.

According to data SpaceX provided, the DOJ said the company “hired only one individual who was an asylee and identified as such in his application” over a nearly four-year period and across more than 10,000 hires.

The lone hire came months after the DOJ notified SpaceX of its investigation.

Musk responded Thursday night, tweeting:

“SpaceX was told repeatedly that hiring anyone who was not a permanent resident of the United States would violate international arms trafficking law, which would be a criminal offense,” adding, “This is yet another case of weaponization of the DOJ for political purposes.”

Biden’s lawsuit seeks to win “fair consideration and back pay for asylees and refugees who were deterred or denied employment at SpaceX due to the alleged discrimination,” along with policy changes and civil penalties from the company.

The news comes just days after Musk vowed to sue organizations funded by left-wing billionaire George Soros that have been pushing for a major crackdown on free speech.

As the Daily Fetched reported:

In a post on X, dated Aug. 23, Musk agreed with investigative journalist Michael Shellenberger, who said George Soros-funded NGOs have been falsely claiming “hate incidents” are increasing to push for restrictions of free expression.

“Politicians & George Soros-funded NGOs say ‘hate incidents’ are rising, but they’re not,” Mr. Shellenberger wrote in his post.

“The data show the opposite: higher-than-ever and rising levels of tolerance of minorities. The reason they’re spreading hate misinformation is to justify a draconian crackdown on free speech.”

Should Musk hire a Cuban refugee so he can learn how to build a rocket better than Khrushchev’s experts?

Well, they’re not ‘refugees’, they’re illegal aliens. And it’s illegal to aid and abet, like hiring, illegal aliens.

So they do very sensitive national security work and with sensitive technology.

Plus they were told it was illegal to hire non permanent residents.

Now they were supposed to hire refugeess? Wtf

Doesn’t even pass the laugh test.

We have to get control from these people they really are going to shut down America. They are kooks and they’re angry and vindictive.

Isn’t it illegal for them to employ workers who are not citizens and do not have proper work visas?

The law is what the Left SAY it is.

Presently we have a cop convicted and sitting in jail who did not do the thing which did not kill the suspect but which was nonetheless specified as acceptable procedure in the cop handbook.

“You better hire illegals who are illlegal on at least two levels or else” is the law if they say it is.

We have to deal with these people or we have to kneel before these people. That is the choice. Deal or kneel…

Standing is a big issue in the Courts.

Show us some individuals who are illegal aliens that are also qualified to work at SpaceX. If that can’t be done, no one was harmed, and the suit has no standing. If it can, then security issues can be addressed, and conflict of laws. But, that pool might be zero.

The Biden administration is suing a company that deals with top secret national defense projects because they only hire Americans. That pretty much tells you everything you need to know about what they think of America.

“Do you have, or have you had, close and/or continuing contact with a foreign national within the last seven (7) years with whom you, or your spouse, or cohabitant are bound by affection, influence, common interests, and/or obligation? Include associates as well as relatives, not previously listed in Section 18.”

https://news.clearancejobs.com/2018/04/28/reporting-foreign-contacts-counts-close-continuing/

Asylees and refugees came from dangerous places, allegedly. It is reasonable to assume their close contacts back in their homeland might be at risk.

Luckily Musk buys electrons by the traincar load. Never mess with someone that buys electrons by the traincar load.

Any law that requires a private company to hire “refugees” is textbook fascism.

Clearly you’ve never read the declaration of independence. 🤣

(just having fun with you. But the basic premise stands. There is a third choice. And one is not acting like an american if they don’t take that choice, IMO)

Dealing with modern American tyranny is not going to be simple thing to do such as blowing up the Führer on his airplane.

American tyranny is widespread.

I suggest we not enrich globalists by buying their stocks (and mutual funds) and not buy new houses built by invaders.

We should also demand legal changes to cut back on election fraud, prosecutorial abuse, overtaxation, vote buying, excessive regulation, crony capitalism enablement, etc.
