The slide into Russian revolution was slow and complicated and 1 of the key events was the assassination of Czar Alexander the 2 in 1881. While before true communism governments the killer was a young, woman named Sophia Perovskaya who was into all sorts of leftist radical reactionary beliefs. Including recent communist preachings from Marx. Anyway, she was said to be the essence of a pretty, petite, harmless looking feminine type —-who not only masterminded the plot but threw the bomb that killed the czar.
