Canada has issued a new travel warning to its LGBT citizens planning to visit the United States.
Anti-LGBT protests in the US rose 30-fold last year compared with 2017, while legal moves to restrict LGBT rights are on the rise.
Global Affairs Canada warned that some state laws may affect them on their travels, but did not specify where.
Such warnings are usually reserved for countries such as Uganda, Russia or Egypt.
"Some states have enacted laws and policies that may affect 2SLGBTQI+ persons. Check relevant state and local laws," reads its US travel advice page.
The term 2SLGBTQI+ is widely used in Canada for people who consider themselves two-spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning or intersex.
A spokesperson for Global Affairs Canada pointed to US laws targeting the transgender community.
"Since the beginning of 2023, certain states in the US have passed laws banning drag shows and restricting the transgender community from access to gender-affirming care and from participation in sporting events," they told CBC News.

If these LGBTQ types choose to come to the United States and NOT to engage in demonstrations, then they have nothing to fear. It is the roving bands of freaque show provocateurs who put themselves at risk. If they are simply walking down the street, acting decent and enjoying their stay here, little likelihood of being assaulted just randomly, unless they find themselves in a “woke” community like Seattle or Portland, where violent strike forces stalk the streets without fear of being stopped by any municipal law enforcement officers.

It’s both funny and sad that the only people who are having problems with LGBTQRSTUVxxx are people who are LGBTQIC+. Frankly, I didn’t have any issues with them until they came into the schools to have drag shows for kids, do surgery on kids to change their gender, shove 76 different genders down our throats and whine like little trannies when someone didn’t call them a pony or whatever they identified as. Not to mention, not telling the parents and my favorite, being arrested and prosecuted if we didn’t call them by their gender of choice. Lia Thomas and others sure do not help the cause.

They’re not even “rights”. Our God given, or Natural Rights if you prefer are all but null and void, but these so called “rights” as deemed by ignorant activists, academia, and in this case a foreign government; these rights are little more than fabrications backed by the threat of force.
Translation (since Canada is bilingual): “If you need access to little children, please do it here, rather than in the US, as we need your money.”
If we restore our republic, we’re gonna need a northern border wall, too.
Is this supposed to be a bad thing? Protecting our children from perverts and mutilation? It’s a badge of honor for those states trying to maintain a Christian morality culture
