They’ve made many mistakes over many years, and this is one of them.

Natural Born Citizen, is one it’s simply obvious, without need for and interpretation of law.
2 citizen Parents and the child born on US soil.
The kid can’t be anything but a Citizen.

All other cases require an interpretation, or a law or ruling. Thus not Natural, but Legal. So Citizen? sure lot sf cases. But Natural Born is something different, or it would never have been brought up.

No Citizen Parent? only with a law
only 1 Citizen Parent? only with a law
Not on US Soil? only with a law.
In all other cases it’s not obvious or “natural”.
