“I live very close to the ocean in Jupiter and the salt air destroys everything it comes in contact with. Galvanized fence posts last about 5 years before they’re rusted through.”
Anytime I go to the beach, on the way home I make it a point to run through a car wash once I get 50 miles inland, and then I do a more thorough hand wash once I get home.

One of my cousins had to urinate many years ago. there was a partially downed fence in a hunting field. And he wet on a still live wire....his dad took him to the doctor, ensuring there was no permanent damage. That story has been told over and over.

That's why airplane life vests have lights on them that only turn on when you're in the water. They need the conductivity of the salt in the seawater to complete the circuit and turn on the light on the vest.

Many have done the same over the years. Some by accident and some on a dare. None ever did it a second time.

The smart ones use a long green stem of grass. You hold the end away from the fence and slowly push it closer to the fence increasing the tingle you feel.

All nonsense spread by the anti electric vehicle non believers. Just add a “booster battery pack” and you will be fine!...

I’ll have to check that out. Are there places to ride the e-MTB around the area?

Also, do you know if it is true that the Idaho Parks rangers have been making e-bike riders remove the throttle control from the handlebar to ride on shared-use trails? Thanks.

I assume how often depends on various conditions, including weather, location, mission, altitude, and the like. I remember seeing a P-3C in the "carwash" at NAS Key West. It's routine on carriers as well.

Yup, one of my fears about evs.
Locked securely inside a bricked ev, then the battery ignites.
