who are too ignorant to understand how electricity is generated.

That would be me. Is all electricity generated by fossil fuels? Some of it?

All reliable, "on-demand" electricity that we use is based on fossil fuels (mostly), hydro-electric power or nuclear fission.

Up here in the wet Northwest, we have these things on rivers called dams, and the water piled up behind the dams is used to turn turbines to generate electricity. Some of the cheapest per KW hour energy available.
