For those who think the truth about the crime and slime associated with Jeffrey Epstein has been deep-sixed down the memory hole, there may be another bite at this rotten apple. Mimi Lui, an attorney representing the U.S. Virgin Islands, has filed suit in federal court against JPMorgan Chase. Lui charged that over $1 billion in suspicious transactions have been reported to the U.S. Treasury since Epstein’s death and that JPMorgan Chase ignored sex-trafficking red flags over many years, thus enabling these crimes.

Despite a trial in which his assistant, Ghislaine Maxwell, went to prison, the vast collection of videotapes Maxwell told a friend existed has never been seen by the public. Chase is fighting back by pointing out that Epstein had high government officials on his payroll. So you took his money, and now you’re suing US?
If the DOJ and FBI spent as much energy, money, and time investigating Epstein as they have Trump, we wouldn’t be asking these questions.
I think the correct answer is Yes, as soon as Trump is sworn in for his 2nd term.

Epstein Island was part of the USVI. USCBP would have no more record of comings and goings from the mainland US than they would have of people crossing the border from Virginia to North Carolina.
