Don’t trust this one bit. DeSantis is backed by NeverTrumpers, who are not going to want their donations used to help Trump.
The donations involved are from big ticket donors who thought DeSantis a good candidate but soured after the campaign commenced.
Well, this was not quite the preferred outcome.

The cause of the DeSantis downfall was the day he took the advice of all the elite scum and threw his hat into the ring.
He can kiss any chance of a 2028 run goodbye now.

I don’t trust it either but for a different reason. Thomas was a Trump guy for 2016 and 2020, but he switched to DeSantis, then back to Trump after collecting $50 million? He’s like the Charlie Crist of PAC runners.

Mr. Thomas is known for overpromising and underperforming, according to the article. The most he collected was around $1600 as per FEC reports. The money totally disappeared at the last report. Pres. Trump should stay far, far away from this grifter with a sketchy record, just as DeSantis did. Be careful where you donate to.
It was all a lie. Thomas is a scammer who claimed $50M in donations, but the FEC reports that were filed came to less than $2K, most of which seems to have gone into his pocket. The link about this man is in post #10.
You’d think that someone working for Pres. Trump would do a little research before a response is tossed out into cyberspace. I wonder how much he made off the president’s other campaigns?
Isn’t this the “super PAC” that only raised about $1500 and all of that went to the guy running it? It’s a scam, but a lot of people who hate Desantis are falling for it hook, line and sinker..
To me, the significant thing is that it shifted to Trump and immediately. No prevarication. No other candidate. Trump is still the outsider, the rebel, the voice for all of us dissatisfied with the Uniparty and their self-serving ways.
