Your facts are not complete. The 50 million was pledged but the donors cooled and reneged. Only a very small sum was actually collected.I linked the article earlier in the thread. I do not blame the super pac. They do not appear to have done anything wrong. This was the same Super PAC that DeSantis warned people against donating to back in November, saying he had no affiliation with it whatsoever

That is irrelevant. A candidate is not allowed to coordinate to a super pac, nor is the super pac allowed to donate to the candidate. I did post the relevant statute earlier. The other super pac has acted in a questionable manner coordinating with the candidate. DeSantis’ motives in directing traffic to the other super pac may reflect that fact.
