Marion County Coroner Troy Cannon announced Thursday that an autopsy determined Jismary died of bacterial Shigella Flexneri Colitis, an intestinal disease, and Aspiration Pneumonia. Diarrhea and vomiting also caused electrolyte abnormalities and brain swelling, which also contributed to her death. She also tested positive for norovirus and rotavirus in her intestines, and RSV in her lungs, both of which can cause diarrhea and respiratory illness.

The people/group that chartered that bus have some splainin’ to do...
So, it was a lack of care by her parents and not evil republicans who killed this poor child.
I assume she had been taken by her mother on an exhausting trip to cross the border, all while suffering from lack of proper sleep, personal hygiene, and diet or hydration. Her immune system was weakened and she was susceptible to any and all viruses she came in contact with on her journey. Then when she became ill, the mother ignored her symptoms and failed to get the necessary medical assistance.
And shigellosis is a reportable illness.
What did the people who chartered the bus know and when did they know it...
