Some people on Free Republic, keep saying she went liberal on us, with that transgender sports issue.

She disapproved of the first bill the legislature came up with on that sujbect, and among her concerns was that that bill would be subject to court challenges.

She signed and approved the second version of the bill which she said was a stronger bill that would survive Court challenges.

It seems to me she’s on our side with this transgender Sports business. But to some people here on Free Republic , the fact that she turned down the first version of a bill on this subject is unforgivable to them.

Exactly so. The facts don’t seem to matter to some, which kind of gives the lie to their statements...

They just don’t like her.

Ok. Fine. I get that. But to keep on with the same old talking points is dishonest.

She is definitely beholden to big-money establishment interests. But that’s an inevitable consequence of holding a political leadership position in a sparsely populated rural state. You simply can’t fund a major political campaign without outside money.

That’s also why so many of these states end up with carpetbaggers from big leftist cities and states in leadership positions.
