Republican South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem endorsed former President Donald Trump’s 2024 White House bid on Friday, calling him “the fighter that our country needs.”
Noem’s endorsement came during a South Dakota GOP rally headlined by the 77-year-old, intensifying speculation that the 51-year-old governor may be at the top of Trump’s list of potential 2024 running mates.
“You made America great again once, let’s do it again,” Noem said as she introduced Trump at the Rapid City rally.
“He has my full and complete endorsement for president of the United States of America. I will do everything I can to help him win and save this country,” she added, right before the ex-commander in chief took the stage.
Trump, the 2024 GOP primary front-runner, gushed at the endorsement and praised Noem during his speech, calling her “one of the most successful governors in the entire nation” and a “warrior for American values.”

She’s a politician who just put her middle finger up to the Deep State and its acolytes, and endorsed Trump. I’ll take it. The American Constitution was designed to motivate ambitious people to do the right thing, even for the wrong reasons. It’s working.

People used to argue with me that Kemp was great.
There’s a whole lot of difference between Kemp and Noem.
Kemp does not have 1/10th charisma Noem has.
The GOPe is throwing the hottest GOPe chick at Trump and hoping that he uses her for VP. If he does it guarantees the survival of the worthless GOPe. All they will have to do is remove Trump if he wins and The GOPe is back, baby!
I am confused. Any governor who is able to do a good job is automatically to be tapped for VP, and is automatically up to no good? Trump would not tap her for VP, because Melania would not tolerate a VP with perky boobs. What woman would? OK. There’s Jill, who’s hoping that FJB will run along and play with Kamala. But she is a good governor, and might want to stay at that job for the time being.
