The media fawning over their every word made any dissension unproductive. When Trump touted hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, and other remedies that we now know DID help, he was excoriated. He did push the pharms to come up with a fast tract vax which we now know, and many suspected early on, has done more harm to people’s health and does nothing to stop the spread.
