Billionaire hedge-fund manager Leon Cooperman nearly burst into tears Thursday over the future of America.
Cooperman was talking about stocks he is invested in, noting he owns Microsoft but isn’t buying any more because of its price. That’s when Cooperman shifted gears to talk about his book and criticized Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s progressive outlook.
“I’ve lived the American dream. I’m trying to convince people like Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders and AOC, don’t move away from capitalism. Capitalism is the best system. I get choked up when I talk about it because basically my father came to America at the age of 12 as a plumber’s apprentice. No education. I went to public school in the Bronx, high school in the Bronx, college in the Bronx,” Cooperman said. “I started my career in Wall Street the day after I got my MBA from Columbia. I had no money. I couldn’t afford a vacation. I made a lot of money. I’m giving it all back.”
“I’m concerned about the lefties. They don’t get it. What made me write the book is I have three terrific grandchildren, and I want them to understand the merits of capitalism, and I want them to be capitalists with a heart. I wanna see the system stay centrist. We have a very, very bad political system.”
Cooperman went on to say he thinks both Republicans and Democrats are “lacking.” He also said although it’s wishful thinking, he doesn’t expect President Joe Biden or former President Donald Trump to win the presidency.
Cooperman revealed in 2020 he voted for Biden even though he knew he would benefit financially more with Trump in office.
Cooperman is the enemy, folks. He is just crying now to try to avoid the retribution that is coming his way.
He should save his tears after he stabbed Americas in the back.
This man is confused, Capitalism ≠ Socialism or corruption.

The opponent to capitalism isn't "socialism." It is the government control of the entire process of human activity.
Elizabeth Warren and AOC don’t want the “best” system for America.

Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is filing paperwork to declare himself as a Democratic candidate in Alabama – though he is not expected to compete in the early voting states.
And he already has at least one fan in Cooperman.
Cooperman told CNBC that he is a “huge fan” of Bloomberg and will support him as a candidate in the 2020 Democratic primary.
“I’m a huge fan of Michael. I know him personally. It’s a breath of fresh air,” Cooperman said. “Unless he changes his stripes, he will have my unequivocal support.”

During an interview Monday on CNBC, hedge-fund manager Leon Cooperman visibly teared up on TV in the midst of a lengthy interview about his war of words with Warren and the 2020 election.
“I care,” Cooperman said, his lip quivering. “That’s it.”
The 76-year-old CEO of Omega Advisors and former Goldman Sachs executive has taken vocal exception to Warren’s populist rhetoric, particularly the Massachusetts senator’s proposed tax on wealth over $50 million.
Cooperman is a damned fool who may have awoken too late. STILL, he is trying to convince Communist monsters of the “error” of their ways? Dumb as a rock.

That's where I think Hanlon's Razor ("Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity") is weak.
The problem with Hanlon's Razor is that the acts or threats of stupid people may not be nearly as dangerous and/or as expensive as those of evil people.
As you imply (I think), it is damned important to determine if your enemy is an idiot or if he is evil.
