Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that the U.S. child poverty rate was a ‘disgrace” that should be addressed with a child tax credit.
Anchor Jake Tapper said, “New numbers out this week show that child poverty in the U.S. more than doubled in the last year from 5% to 12%, 1 in 8 American children. This comes after Congress let that pandemic-era enhanced tax credit expire. Do you think it should be put back, and who do you blame for the disappearance? Because that was not just Republicans.”

Bidenomics, Comrade.
From what I’ve seen of today’s youth and parenting, it might make more sense to incentivize people to not have children
So Sanders thinks it’s a lack of a tax credit. It has nothing to do with single baby mamas that don’t work, or unknown fathers that don’t support their spawn, or anything to do with Bidenomics. Yeah, he’s a godless Marxist.
Burnie! Take your commie ass down to the border and turn around all the freeloaders with kids and send them back home and demand THEIR government provides them with “a better life”. We’re running out of gringos willing to do it. And then dump the “anchor baby” amendment. That’s why the first thing these invader bimbos do when they get in is get knocked up. It’s not “U.S. Child Poverty”. It’s global “child poverty” you commie bitches want American workers to pick up the tab for. Hypocrite Ass!
How is poverty calculated? If we say a family is poor because they have a low income and then give them free housing, food, medical care, education and a hundred other things do those raise them from poverty? Or do the freebies not count to raise people out of poverty in the official count and therefore grifters like Sanders can make further demands on the taxpayers.
So Sanders thinks it’s a lack of a tax credit.
Look at your tax form! It’s on the first page!
[U.S. more than doubled in the last year from 5% to 12%, 1 in 8 American children.]
I wonder how much of that increase came from S/C America in the past few years.
Poverty? In the US? I thought that problem was solved with Lyndon Johnson’s War on Poverty back in 1964!
As was said by a backwoods hillbilly “If he wants me in his war on poverty he is going to have to draft me!”
NEVER held a job that wasn’t public office of some sort. When he married his first wife, the nut took her out to live in a shack with a dirt floor (they divorced later.)
There’s no child car credit because of all the payoffs, bow-out fees and vacation homes they had to give him to leave the ticket.
He’s back in the slimelight now because he wants a Maui villa vacation home (now that they’re cheap.)
From which one of his three multi-million dollar mansions did he issue this statement?
We already have a child tax deduction, they want a refundable tax credit. In other words getting paid for each child.
“. . . it might make more sense to incentivize people to not have children.” But of course Uncle Sugar has done the exact opposite. For several generations now we’ve subsidized bastardy, and if you subsidized something you’re guaranteed to get more of it. Fatherless kids are always poorer — in more ways than one —than those in intact families.
Ten Years After:
Tax the rich. Feed the poor. Till there are no rich no more...
LBJ’s War On Poverty causes this.
What a phony
