Agreed.
Years ago, there was a crime of some type (I can no longer remember the details), and there was serious questions as to whether or not the authorities were looking for the right guy. Some guy was on the phone at the time asking a family member what the heck was going on and did they know why cops were outside in his neighborhood and helicopters overhead.
He didn’t realize he was the target. The authorities destroyed his home with major gunfire and whatever other major weapons of destruction the feds were using in those days, killing the guy in the process. Apparently, he had no criminal record.
I remember because it was a Saturday on Labor Day weekend when usually government action on anything was impossible to get done. By Monday morning, the remains of that house had been bulldozed flat and the lot looked as if no house had ever existed on the lot. No more was ever reported on the incident by the media. Several years later I recall looking for details or at least a mention of the crime and could not find anything at all.
Government agencies are excellent at both committing a crime, and being a “clean up crew” when they believe it is warranted. For the greater good of course.
