Good grief, they’re just supplying toilets for the homeless.

Plant cactus, roses with thorns and other plants like that.

Wouldn’t they basically become porta potties?
To: Vendome
They also need to pipe classical music to the outside of the store. Better yet, just play “White Punks on Dope” on an endless loop. The Tubes were a San Francisco band, after all.

Pyracantha, aka firethorn, is the best defensive planting there is. It’s tough, survives neglect as long as you water it every month or two, and has truly vicious thorns. It also looks OK if you keep it trimmed (warning, you will bleed while trimming it) and has nice white flowers that develop into red berries. Plant pyracantha bushes under a ground-floor window, and nobody will climb through that window.

They need to ply Chopin or at least Barry Manilow 24/7 to clear the infestation.
Or 24/7 Yah Mo B There by Michael McDonald.
Or 24/7 Mockingbird by James Taylor and Carly Simon.
Or 24/7 Loving You by Minnie Riperton

The trick is to drive away the derelects, NOT the paying customers too!

If they were really serious about it, they would plant Poison Hemlock.

I’m all for arresting vagrants and dumping them outside of city limits after a nice Hickory shampoo.

In the old days they paid protection money to less offensive people, who became more offensive, so they stick with the homeless offensive.

"It's a Miracle" is pretty amazing, but I think it is surpassed by "I Made It Through the Rain" and "Wouldn't It Be Nice If We Could Be Lonely Together?"
To wit:
I made it through the rain
and found myself respected
by the others who
Got rained on too
and made it through
