Trump never explains how Ukraine could have avoided invasion. Never explains how they are responsible or why the US should not aid their defense. He never puts any responsibility on Russia as if they have no will of their own. He never explains how he will cut a deal in 24 hours, as if he is the only one involved.

Trump is not willing to admit that Russia does not want peace. They do not want to be "safe from NATO" or anyone else, no one was ever threatening Russia. Putin wants a new Russian empire. Trying to buy Russia off will only delay them, not stop them.
