Virginia Gets Ready for High-Stakes Election as Early Voting Opens Friday
The Epoch Times ^ | 9/18/23 | Terri Wu

A lot is at stake in Virginia’s election this November: all 140 seats in the state House and Senate are up for grabs. With redistricting and over a dozen retirements, including Senate leaders from both parties, this year’s election is more competitive and uncertain than in previous years. All possible outcomes are within reach.

Republicans could keep the House and win the Senate, paving the path for Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin to achieve his conservative agenda over the next two years. The success would inform Republican strategies for the national races in 2024 and give Mr. Youngkin’s presidential ambition, whether for 2024 or 2028, a significant boost.

[snip]

Winning both House and Senate majorities will not be easy for the Republicans.

Election security and preventing ballot fraud is the key. If the GOP hasn't implemented a plan to stop the election fraud then they have no chance of winning the state senate.

I’m sure that means shuttering massive portions of government that Democrats have put in place, cutting spending, tax cuts, reducing crime, eliminating woke teachers, deporting illegals from the Commonwealth, and putting a halt to everything green. /massive sarcasm

"Winning both either House and or Senate majorities will not be easy for the Republicans."

Redistricting tilted both the state House and Senate to the left. The current tenuous hold which the GOP has on the House is at great risk, and the half of the Senate seats which are up favor Democrats increasing their majority rather than losing it.

Even though the way the lines have been drawn hurts the Republicans (not to mention the demographic and political leanings of the state), if the GOP can minimize Democrat fraud while maximizing their own turnout -- as they did in 2021 when Youngkin was elected -- then they might be able to eke out some results that are better than expected.

The Rats in Virginia may have been blindsided and/or overconfident in 2021, just like the Rats were in 2016 when many swing states went narrowly for Trump when just a little more fraud would have made a big difference.

In 2020 they didn't let a repeat of 2016 happen at the presidential level; in 2023, are they really going to let a repeat of 2021 happen at the legislative level in Virginia?

Probably not.

Bigly.

If you’re able-bodied and loyal to our former republic, don’t vote early.

Or by mail.

How did redistricting get the result of tilting the houses to the left, when one of the houses is held by the GOP and should have influence in the district maps? Did RINOs screw things up again?

That’s not a bad assumption considering how the Stupid party so often mucks things up, but redistricting in Virginia is not controlled by the legislature.

A “bipartisan redistricting commission” handles those tasks now.

That’s like giving Bill Belichick an extra week to prepare a defense.

“why not vote early in person? Curious.”

I voted early several times, it’s convenient you drive over to the registrar’s office and they check your current status in the system and give you a ballot and you go to another room with a volunteer and you go to a machine and you vote and then it’s tabulated as you feed the sheet into a tabulator. It’s just like voting on voting day only it’s more convenient because you’re not fighting crowds.

The conventional “wisdom”, which like most conventional wisdom is mostly a crock of shit, states that when people vote early then the bad guys know exactly how much fraud they need to commit because they can see who has voted (and, though illegal, can probably also see HOW they voted).

Therefore everyone up to and including our Esteemed Leader has been urging us for years NOT to vote early.

But people are slowly becoming aware that when we leave the early voting playing field entirely to the Democrats, that leaves the door wide open to Arizona-style shenanigans (regarding voting machines, printers, sudden ballot scarcity at GOP precincts) on Election Day.

Because at that point most Rats have already voted while most Republicans have not, so any adverse things which happen on Election Day mainly affect Republican voters — exactly as such things are intended to do.

Furthermore, in some states mail-in ballots are counted LAST (at least that’s been the case in the past) — and since it’s well-known that mail-ins heavily favor Democrats, then they say with a straight face that it’s hardly a surprise when all those GOP leads evaporate in the middle of the night and it has nothing at all to do with fraud (yeah, right). That’s another impact of allowing the vast majority of mail-in ballots to be submitted by Democrats.

The RINOs that run the Republican Party in Virginia have done nothing to reduce massive voter fraud in the northern Virginia counties that are totally democrat. Nothing.

So don’t expect much success.

The push for early voting is useless. There is a fixed number of Republican voters, but there is an unlimited number of democrat ballots ( not voters). Early voting totals for Republicans just make it easier for democrats to know how many fake ballots they have to come up with on election night.

The Washington suburb counties of Fairfax, Arlington an Alexandria are in the richest 10 places in America, yet with all their money and technology, they are always the last ones to report results. And these results always defeat the Republican lead margin in the rest of the state.

On top of the massive vote fraud with dead, green card, illegal alien, out-of-state student and moved ballots, the democrat controlled school boards have produced an ignorant electorate who will pull the democrat lever to keep the free money coming to them.

So don’t expect much good news out of Virginia.

“well then why did OP say NOT to vote early?”

I do not know. Unless he was dissuading or trying to dissuade people from mailing in votes early or mailing in votes at all because those votes can get stolen, tampered with or dumped and the registrar losses control.
