White House, Hunter Biden’s team keep shifting goalposts in denying Joe’s involvement with businesses

Hunter Biden’s lawyer declared last Thursday that the first son "did not share" his business or his profits with his father, marking another notable shift in the narrative responding to allegations linking President Biden to his son’s shady business dealings.

Abbe Lowell, who has been aggressively defending Hunter, said he can "categorically" declare that Biden was not involved in Hunter's previous business dealings and did not profit from any of them.

"I can tell you that Hunter did not share his business with his dad," Lowell told CNN on Thursday. "I can tell you that he did not share money from his businesses with his dad. And as the evidence out there, his dad, like all good parents, tried to help Hunter when Hunter needed that help."

Republicans need to talk to Hunter's business partner, Eric Schwerin, since emails from Hunter’s laptop show Schwerin moving money on behalf of Joe and Hunter while helping the latter handle family expenses. Schwerin received Joe Biden’s “Delaware tax refund check” while he was vice president and he and Hunter talked by phone about Joe Biden’s mortgage.

In February 2014, Hunter advised Schwerin, his business partner to describe himself as a “close confidant and counsel” to his VP dad.

The NY Post reported that the trusted partner, Eric Schwerin, was involved in the transfer of Joe Biden’s Senate papers and Obama/Biden transition papers to the U of Delaware in March 2010 — which may have included “sensitive” and “classified” documents.

By December 2017, Hunter had fallen out with Schwerin and attempted to cut ties with him.

Greenfield-—At first glance, Hunter Biden’s influence peddling deals appear to be internationally opportunistic, as he flew on dad's plane, AF Two, mooching off taxpayers, hopscotching from one part of the world to the other, exploiting whatever openings emerged.

Republicans need to scrutinize whether Hunter and his business partners were piggybacking on the foreign and domestic policies of the Obama administration, converging on green energy investments at home, and Chinese and Ukrainian oligarchs looking to do business in America.

Biden moneyman, Eric Schwerin, had a friendly relationship with the scandal-plagued influence-peddler Hunter for years and served as the managing director of their investment firm Rosemont Seneca Advisors, though they may have met when both worked in the Commerce Dept of the Clinton admin.

Schwerin was also part of Hunter’s lobbying shop, Oldaker, Biden & Belair, from 2002-2008, disclosure forms show.

Prior to Obama’s presidential campaign, the-then Illinois US senator sought more than $3.4 million in congressional earmarks for Hunter’s clients, the Wash/Post reported in Aug 2008, weeks after Obama tapped Joe Biden as his running mate.

BACKSTORY —— Nearly a dozen current and former officials serving in the White House and Biden administration, including the president’s national security adviser and the secretary of state, have extensive ties to Hunter Biden, who is accused by Republicans of selling access to his father, dating back over a decade.

A Fox News Digital analysis reveals the extent of Hunter’s potential reach in the White House, while the corrupt Hunter skates away charged w/ only two alleged misdemeanor tax violations and a felony gun charge.

The analysis includes:

<><>a top aide to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin,

Hunter Biden and President Biden’s national security adviser, Jake Sullivan, served together on the board of the Truman National Security Project, a liberal foreign policy think tank, for roughly two years before Sullivan joined the president’s campaign in 2020.

During that time, Hunter was also serving on the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings and the Chinese private equity fund BHR Partners.

The federal investigation into Hunter’s foreign business dealings, which is still ongoing, also launched during the same time frame in 2018.

Sullivan was recently accused by former White House official Mike McCormick of being a “conspirator” in the Biden family’s “kickback scheme” in Ukraine when VP Biden was point man for Obama.
