Attorney General Merrick Garland claimed before Wednesday’s Judiciary Committee hearing that allegations leveled by IRS whistleblowers against the Justice Department’s investigation into Hunter Biden are only “opinion” and not fact.
“Whistleblowers are lying to us under oath — those whistleblowers are lying?” Rep. Mike Johnson (R-LA) questioned Garland.
“Their description of the process, Congressman, is an opinion, not a fact question,” he replied.

Whistleblowers who told stories about Trump were said to be telling the gospel truth.
Whistle blowers who have stories to tell about Biden, are just expressing some undefined unconfirmed opinion of events. They are not treated the same way as whistleblowers who would tell a story about Trump.
Opinions and feelings is what got Paxton impeached.
Exactly. Now I can see why so many RATS and their “media” toads lost their minds when the Garland boi didn’t get the SCOTUS job. To them, Garland was “The Second Coming”. He could walk on water.
Garland all democrats on the committee, are latching on to the ‘fact’ that, David Weiss was appointed as prosecutor by Trump. So, to them, Weiss is without fault and a fool-proof indication that the DOJ under Garland is doing the right thing, because “Trump appointed” Weiss to begin with.
Why aren’t republicans batting back that argument? Can they not see that as a faulty defense by Garland. Weiss works under Garland and will to as the boss says, and the boss says that Hunter and Joe are out of limit.
And we thought that the Halfrican’s wingman Eric “Dick” Holder was bad...
Well follow the money, produce the paperwork proof, then it is fact.
Until Congress produces evidence to substantiate whistleblower claims, he is correct.

Garland argues and obfuscates rather than say he disagrees that traditional Catholics are extremists.
