Ukrainian soldiers are racing against time to achieve a breakthrough in the southeast before the rainy and cold weather kicks in and worsens fighting conditions, which could happen as soon as next month.
The counteroffensive is unlikely to end just because of poor weather, but it is expected to complicate the fighting and slow down operations.
Ukraine is stressing the weather will not impact the overall military operation, but some analysts expect the war could soon shift into a new phase.
Mathieu Boulegue, a nonresident senior fellow with the Transatlantic Defense and Security Program at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA), said it would not be long before another cycle begins, in which fighting slows down in the fall and winter before the spring opens the door for another offensive.

Ask the nazis about mud season in that area.
Bad weather may actually help them.
Ukraine can’t move armor and vehicles through open fields, due to lack of air-cover, drones, artillery, mines. They’ve been forced to switch to small-unit tactics - so clouds and mud may possibly negate some of the Russian advantages.
I’m not saying they have a chance, only that the MSM notion that bad weather will stop them may not be accurate
The globalists will not allow the weather to stop the slaughter of white Christians. Innovative and more efficient ways of killing will be introduced. The meat grinder will be modified but it will not stopn churning.
Makes sense, bad weather forced an F-35 fighter plane to crash as well. 😜

Pray for rain and snow, lots of rain and snow?
What offensive? Is that the new name for money laundering?
I am against the Russian invasion, but I think praying for rain and snow to kill even more Russians is cruel.
Last winter thousands of Russian conscripts died of exposure in their trenches.
They may be fighting for the wrong side in the war, but I still wouldn't pray for their death.
I actually agree with you.
