An online fundraiser has been launched to pay for security for Black Lives Matter activist Zyahna Bryant — whose partnership with Dove to promote “fat liberation” sparked controversy after she was accused of getting a white student expelled over “misheard” comments.
The GoFundMe — which had raised nearly $10,000 by Sunday – was created last week by Erica Chapman, a Charlottesville, Virginia, woman who claims she is Bryant’s cousin.
“Zyahna has been receiving hate mail and threats for YEARS, and recently they have become worse,” she wrote on the GoFundMe page.
Chapman said that Bryant, a community organizer and student activist studying at the University of Virginia, had faced increasing threats since she announced last month that she was partnering with Dove Beauty to promote “fat liberation.”
The nature of the threats against Bryant was unclear. It also wasn’t known was kind of security measures she may be receiving.
The Post reached out to Bryant and Chapman for comment Sunday.

Show us the police report filed about these “threats”. Until then everyone should assume they are just another BLM fraud trying to scam people out of their money.
If the haters were smart, they would write their hate notes in cursive .... she’s never even know it.

is there less tolerance of freedom of speech now than in the past. One has the freedom to say buy dove and those who don’t are fools. The other side has the freedom say the opposite.
How can the courts, or any part of government be involved?
She will eventually get her comeuppance from Nature. She is morbidly obese. Her knees will cause her Excruciating pain. Will probably need knee replacements far earlier than most. I haven’t had them yet but I hear recovery is pretty painful even if you are in good shape. She has a good chance of dying young from any number of diseases. She needs a bodyguard against Nature.
..and because she may need knee replacements before her 60s...she may end up having to have the surgery twice in each leg if she manages to live past 60
