Very true and, in fact, during the Cold War, we INTENTIONALLY gave technology to China so that they could tie up a large part of the Soviet Army, as it was cheaper than further building up our forces. The Neocons knew there was some risk in that, but figured they wouldn’t be around when it was time to pay the price, which is today.
