President Joe Biden (D) is getting flak for mispronouncing LL Cool J’s name and using a derogatory term when speaking of the rapper at an awards dinner on Saturday in Washington, DC.
Biden’s comments came during a speech at the Congressional Black Caucus event where LL Cool J and MC Lyte were given Phoenix Awards, according to the New York Post.
“Two of the great artists of our time representing the groundbreaking legacy of hip hop in America, LL Jay Cool J, uhhh…” he stated, video footage of the moment shows.

A reporter asked a group of college kids something along the lines of “which candidate said these racist things” (and proceeded to list a whole bunch of racist remarks) (I can’t remember now the actual words spoken, so am paraphrasing the segment I watched on it)
The kids got angry looks on their faces and all said “Trump” and went on to spout crap talking points about trump”s supposed racism
The reported said something along the lines of “would it surprise you to know that it was biden”
The kids relaxed their angry looks a bit and made the excuse “well that doesn’t excuse Trumps racism” or some such nonsense- they were still piss8ng and moaning about Trump and ignored the fact that biden is a flat out racist with many proven racist statements to his account.
