Brass threaded barrel for silencer?
The thread protector is brass (or brass colored) to match the theme. The barrel is steel. Threaded for a suppressor. Holster options are different with a suppressor installed.

Of course. A few miles from that location is City Arsenal. I have a silencer in jail at the moment but because they have an indoor range, I can shoot it while waiting for the stamp.
You can also put a compensator on it with the threaded barrel.
It’s just a thread protector. Thread it off, there’s your steel threads. Bunch of nice comps and flash hiders these days on top of suppressors get more and more common, threaded barrels are cool to have
