When the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor the entire concept of Naval Warfare changed from Battleships to Air Craft Carriers, to some degree that’s still true today, but is rapidly changing.
The war in Ukraine has shown how vulnerable warships can be, things like underwater drones, robotic jet skis loaded down with explosives, over the horizon anti-ship missiles, etc. have all made navy ships vulnerable.
China supposedly has significantly more war ships than the USA, their navy is concentrated in areas around the South China Sea, augmented with man made islands where airplanes can operate from.
I’m certainly not a naval warfare expert, but the US Navy could be very vulnerable trying to fight back in that situation, unless they combined forces with other nations in the area, Japan, Australia, South Korea, Vietnam and the Philippines.
I wonder how the American Pubic would react if a Aircraft Carrier with 5000 sailors and all those planes went to the bottom of the ocean, it would be a catastrophe.

What else would anyone expect from the "woke" armed forces?
Obviously the condition of America's "woke" and weakened military--and everything else--is not lost on America's enemies, both domestic and foreign, whose objective is the destruction of the USA.
What will it take to awaken the "woke"?
Will they still be voting Democrat and singing the praises of America's enemies as the USA falls and they with it?
China owns The Big Guy.Ibn fact,China owns the entire Rat Party. China knows,Rat Party Headquarters knows it and everyone else who’s been paying attention knows it. So the Navy’s having backed down is expected.
