Do we know if any of these UAV’s etc have actually been used with success?
from the naval news article, there is a sinking of a ship called the Moskva which of course is clouded in disinformation, but from wikipedia (which may very well be disinformation in itself), it was destroyed by a traditional anti-ship missile, not a jetski/drone or other new tactic of modern warfare.
I can look around, but I’m sure they have been used, the question is how successfully, is the question and we may not know that for a while.
Despite everything the US has given Ukraine we haven’t given them a Navy or probably much of a defense against Russia’s Navy in the Black Sea.
The Ukrainians to their credit have adapted to use everything they have to attack the Russian Navy. I have no doubt they have suing Jet Ski parts, underwater drones, etc.
Even if the Russians anticipated this tactic, defending against it could prove very difficult.
