The government employees sent home get paid. So sick of this crap.

It’s just another compromise that shouldn’t be made. I never heard of anyone getting laid off in the private sector coming back to work and being paid for not working. It’s worse with scumbag government employees. They don’t work to begin with, at least not in the sense of working for the American taxpayers.

If anyone is curious as to why I demonize federal employees, it is actually for several thoughtful reasons. We need to steel ourselves for the day when a large portion of federal employees do lose their jobs, permanently. There will be sob stories and we do have some compassion. We cannot succumb to that compassion when it is necessary to fire them. Then there is the fact that federal employees are the deep state. And then by demonizing federal employees is an attempt to shame them into doing the right thing. That’s getting a real job in the private sector a building something that benefits Americans.

If anyone is curious as to why I demonize federal employees, it is actually for several thoughtful reasons.

Your reasons for demonization are solid, and I'll add a few more.

Take the RNs working at the VA. They're federal employees and masquerade as caregivers to vets. In Truth, they're Deep State stooges stealing pills and sleeping on the job.

The IT staff providing network infrastructure to the Feds are another good example. Instead of enabling communication, they are establishing underwater ISDN lines to China for the express purpose of flipping packets.

There are plenty of other fellow travelers, in seemingly innocuous professions such as construction and corrections that are Feds - all Deep State goons that need to see their income frozen to Save America.
