Biden campaign highlights 'MAGAnomics' ahead of the second GOP debate

WASHINGTON — The Biden campaign is preparing to target Republican economic positions, views they expect to play a large role in the second Republican presidential debate in California on Wednesday.

President Joe Biden has frequently touted "Bidenomics" — the term the administration embraced that encompasses his economic agenda — but more recently highlighted what he is calling "MAGAnomics," using the term for the first time according to a senior White House official to target Republican economic policies earlier this month.

The Biden campaign plans to portray "MAGAnomics" as harming middle-class families, senior citizens and American manufacturing, all the while helping the "super wealthy," "Big pharma" and China, according to campaign advisers.

The willingness of "MAGA Republicans" to force a government shutdown "unless Donald Trump gets his way, shines a brighter spotlight on economic impacts of the extreme MAGAnomics agenda," campaign advisers said in an email last week. "On the debate stage, Republicans will have to answer whether they’re on the side of the MAGA shutdown or with the American people."

In a Wednesday call with reporters, Biden campaign National Advisory Board member Rep. Dina Titus, D-Nev., argued that "MAGAnomics" would be "devastating" to Nevadans.

"There's no question that Bidenomics is working for Nevadans. They can feel it in their everyday lives," Titus said. "They talk about it at the supper table, and they certainly don't support the MAGAnomics of getting rid of these benefits that have helped them to recover."

This simply illustrates that the elitist lefties consider the average American to be a complete idiot that is unable to think for itself.

Arrogance.

Never mind the fact that Americans are quite cognizant of their financial situation currently versus their situation 3 years ago.

Even slanted lefty polls show that the bulk of Americans are quite aware that President Trump’s economy was undeniably superior to what we’re facing now.

Biden and his people are going to use some ivory tower theoretical gobbledygook statistical masturbation to counteract the lived reality of real Americans? Good luck with that, arseholes.

"Were you better off under President Trump?" — Yes or no?

To quote Bill Clinton's words of wisdom: "It's the economy, stupid."

And the final period of the Trump term was under the effects of the Chinese bioweapon attack called Covid. How could any economy survive that?

I loathe Biden and his supporters.

I can’t believe these dullards are actually planning to run a campaign of fear against a Donald Trump economy.

Do these people have the brains of gnats? A Donald Trump economy was only three years ago. And it was fantastic.

Clueless morons.

Just when we think we got rid of "gate" suffixes after 50 years of gross excess, this new ugly term pops up. I don't think this senile old coot wants to see a table comparing the economy under Trump to that under him. It was 50X better under Trump.

Trump was a successful chief executive and understands what it takes to build successful businesses and create tens of thousands of jobs. He ran the USA like a business as much as he could. He knows how to create wealth and prosperity for everybody. Every statistic shows that.

Biden is a lifelong pol, a filthy, highly corrupt leach sucking the blood and life out of the people. Jefferson's wonderful phrase in the Declaration of Independence always pops to mind when I hear "Biden":

'He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our People, and eat out their substance.'

A side-by-side comparison of MAGAnomics and Bidenomics would cause most consumers to prefer the former.

Bidenomics high inflation is doing significant damage to the middle class.

We put several things on hold in 19, the economy was great but we were afraid they would find a way to screw us out of Trumps 2nd term and that’s exactly what they did. We even went conservative on the funds and glad we did

Yep, the Potato-in-Chief’s advisers have already decided his entire campaign will be reading teleprompter speeches in which he mentions “MAGA,” “January 6,” “MAGA,” “January 6,” and “MAGA,” and he’ll also mention “January 6” in addition to “MAGA” and “January 6” followed by a brief overview of “MAGA” and “January 6” as well as the 5 lawsuits against Trump including the 4 criminal lawsuits, and the Potato will also mention “MAGA” and “January 6” and he’ll even bring up “Trump’s 5 lawsuits,” and probably say something about “MAGA” and “January 6” and he’ll also make note of “MAGA” and “January 6” ....... and I hope you’re getting it by now .....

MAGAnomics was fantastic: low gas prices, low interest rates, reasonable prices for food, plenty of jobs, no foreign war money drain, and generally economic security!

Ms TITUS:

I was shopping today in Carson City, NEVADA Wal-Mart.

I have done accounting for over 66 years since high school, and I have a pretty decent memory.

I use single serve cans of Bushes baked beans for a snack or as part of a meal. I have done so since the early 80’s. I clearly remember the price of 52 cents. Paid $1.52 PER CAN TODAY. Same size-—same brand.

I remember a gallon of whole milk at $2.53-—NOT $3.89 +++.

I remember a loaf of sliced simple white Wal-Mart bread at 84 cents....Now $1.38 a loaf. I buy it & freeze it for sandwiches/ french toast/ egg in the hole, etc.

A container of ice cream used to be a half gallon-—64 ounces for Kroger brand at Smith’s for $2.50, on sale. Price is still $2.50-—on sale-—but container now has 48 ounces of ice cream. That is a reduction in size of 25%.

A 2 liter bottle of original Coca Cola was around $1.88—now is $2.68-—80 Cents more per bottle of 67 ounces.

Bananas were always about 58 cents a pound-—now 68 cents a pound. I could go ON & ON.

I could buy pork shoulder roast on sale for 99 cents a pound-—cook all day in crockpot & have wonderful sandwiches for days afterward. NOW the SALE price is $1.89 a pound-—and Smith’s NO LONGER mails out a weekly flyer with specials. Too expensive for the advertising, I guess. I live 24 + miles from Smith’s, so I have to gamble that something I might want is on sale-—by driving there & back-—48 miles RT with regular gas at $4.599 a gallon & some places up to $4.799/gallon or more.

I live on Soc Sec & my ONLY saving grace is that I OWN MY PROPERTY OUTRIGHT-—NO MORTGAGE PAYMENTS. ALSO NO CAR PAYMENTS-—But car is 45 years old-—and I keep it running-—and running.

I don’t know WHO does all your meal planning/ shopping/ cooking, etc., but for the bulk of us, we are stretching our meal planning & buying more & more pasta & less & less meat-—even chicken ON SALE is $1.97-—when it was 99 cents a pound only 2 years ago.

There are lots of other ways I save-—

NO PAY TV
NO CELL PHONE
NO eating out
NO entertainment
NO jewelry
NO drinking
NO smoking
NO GAMBLING— a staple of Nevada income

I welcome your assistance in making my dollars stretch-—but ALL of this is on BIDEN-—NO ONE ELSE.
