So, 80% of the charges cleared yesterday because of the statute of limitations. Nice work by AG Letitia James.
Yet, they still get airing according the judge? How is that fair if Trump is innocent until proven guilty and these earlier charges are no longer relevant or being prosecuted. How does Trump defend himself?
And will Trump get new attorneys? Can't believe they were so incompetent to no check off the box for a Jury Trial. Seriously?!

Yes, Trump was complaining about no jury trial, reports were that his attorneys failed to check off the box on the form, and some other reports that this wasn’t even an option. Don’t know and haven’t seen or heard a definitive answer.
This is why more and more cases of police shootings these days are adjudicated as bench trials -- such as the one where the Baltimore police officers were charged in the Freddie Gray case a few years ago.
And watching the live stream, the court room is too small. They should have held this in a stadium, let everyone come watch the kangaroo court spectacle.
Understood. But that's why you lose a lot of credibility in my book by even posting a remark about Trump getting new lawyers. If you don't know the facts, don't look foolish by making a biased statement like that.
I’d love to get on a jury trial like one of these! Every time I’ve been called I was either heading overseas for DoD work or immediately dismissed when I answered that, yes, my dad was a cop.

Trump is, wisely, thinking politically. There is a 90% chance he’ll lose whether by Jury or Judge. The law is really irrelevant. Attacking the judge as a Left wing lune and a partisan hack is more effective that attacking the jury of “his peers”. The media much more easily spins the loss by jury than by a Ratpuke Judge. It’s all politics. The country is a joke.
I agree, this judge loses no matter what he does. Especially after that embarrassing video taken in the court room yesterday. Give them some rope, they hang themselves.

By now you and others should realize that TRump chose NOT to have a jury trial.
And he also chose not t9o dispose of the case via using a preliminary motion of based on the statute of limitations, and he strategically waited for open court so he could use the court as a campaign platfor to show Letitia James as a sophoimioric , incopkpetent piece of trash. He succeeded.

Moist people haven’t a clue about whats going oin. This is not a trial,its a kangaroo court designed to hinder or end Trumps campaign, and Trump has been brilliant at converting this trial to a campaign plus.It haslittle or nothing to do wityh any crime. There was no crime.
