Trump fraud trial in NYC live updates: Accountant Donald Bender’s testimony appears to agitate ex-president, who whispers in lawyer’s ear

Former President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social early Tuesday that he will be back in a Manhattan courthouse Tuesday for the second day of the $250 million civil fraud trial brought against him by the New York Attorney General’s Office.

“I’d love to be campaigning instead of doing this,” he had said Monday when proceedings finished for the day, insisting he “built a great company.”

Outside the courtroom Monday, Trump reiterated claims he made earlier in the day that the charges against him amount to election interference in the 2024 presidential race.

The fraud lawsuit brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James accuses Trump, sons Eric and Don Jr., and the Trump Organization of a decades-long scheme, over-inflating the values of his many properties.

The fact that 80% was thrown out by the judge tells us that Lettecia wasn't doing her job....and recognizing the statues of limitations. She should actually be disbarred for that.

In the meantime, common criminal and doper, Hunter Biden, is hiding behind mommy's skirt.

To me, my property is worth $10B because of the memories of my kids being raised here. Is the state going to come after me?

I agree. IMHO this is just further evidence that this is all a political hit job.

What is the value of a putty knife?

The price paid to the Chinese factory?

The price paid to the brand vendor by a store?

The price paid to the store by the retail buyer?

What is the value of a house?

Maybe $400,000 to a retail buyer with maybe $360,000 net to the seller.

What is the value of a house?

What somebody is willing to pay for it.

Let’s see, accountant takes economies with the truth to save his own skin, bought off, threatened, maybe Trump fired him, axe to grind? Yeah, I’d be pissed as well.

She should have already been Sanctioned a Few Hundred Thousand Dollars for “ABUSE OF PROCESS” and facing Disbarment for the same.

She knew damned well the Statute of Limitations had passed and ABUSED THE PROCESS ANYWAY.

Many high end houses can take years to sell.

“Donald Trump reportedly paid $10 million for his Mar-a-Lago property. This is significantly less than his original offer of $25 million. The sale included 17 acres of land and all the original home furnishings. He also later purchased the beachfront property in front of the estate.”

The State of New York, 1. does not have standing. There is no actionable case or controversy involving the Plaintiff in this suit. There are no allegations that Trump defrauded the State of NY by using inflated valuations; 2. Because of No. 1, the State of NY has no damages; 3. Lettuctitia is guilty of sanctionable misconduct by ignoring the Statute of Limitations and filing frivolous causes of action.

The accounting firm turned tail and ran as soon as they found out someone was sniffing around.

Many high end houses can take years to sell.

Especially if the location is meh, as Michael Jordan found out the hard way.

People with that kind of money will pay for the location, not the house itself. They will just tear down the house and build the one they want.

Andrew McCarthy was on Brian Kilmead’s radio show today and said that the items beyond the statute of limitations can be used in a case to establish a pattern of behavior prior to the charged “crimes.”
