People don’t want to fund Ukraine. They want spending cuts not rolling over to the dems every time

I agree! Republicans are sick and tired of their spineless representatives caving into Democrat demands. Two possible solutions: 1) the Republicans grow a pair and start fighting for their constituents (not likely), or 2) Republican voters start over and start voting the sheep out of office (not likely). Option 2 holds the most hope, but only if the voting public educates itself...also not likely. We're getting what we voted for...

McCarthy seemed to just want the title on his CV, he was not interested in the work and got out pretty dang fast. They had Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, we got nothing and the turtle. Sad.

As I posted on another thread …

The 8 Republicans who voted to oust McCarthy are outnumbered in the House by the 18 who represent districts that Biden won in 2020.

There’s no such thing as a Republican agenda in the House when you have a narrow majority under those circumstances.

The sold-out uniparty is the problem.

It seems that voting Republican is as useless as voting libertarian. Either way the big government gets its way.

What I really hate is the attitude that all the R speakers seem to have of “I am doing you all a favor by being the speaker, you are lucky to have me”.

I hate that too.

Thats batting a 1000, since there are only 8 Republicans in the House. Yesterdays vote CONFIRMED in Spades that over 200 of the so called Republicans in the House are addicted to the Bribes, Kickbacks, Graff and Insider Trading scams and literally not a single one of them gives a Rats Ass about the American People.

SAVE THE CLUB AND SCREW AMERICA is their Official Motto now

I agree.

Here is my simple explanation for why some Republicans seem willing to prioritize honorable defeat over dishonorable victory, paraphrasing Victor Davis Hanson’s recent observation that “Republicans would rather lose nobly than win nastily.” Many so-called RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) are dues-paying members of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which has always maintained that, as a 501(c)(4) organization, it works with and supports both political parties to advance its agenda.

The DOJ is being weaponized against the political enemies of the ruling regime. Not just Trump but pro-lifers, pro-2A activists and other conservatives.

Our borders are not only left open but our government is spending money to incentivize the invaders to come here and replace normal Americans.

Republicans control the funding mechanism of the government. They CANNOT keep funding that tyranny. It is their duty to stop it.

Our Rep (NW GA) Marjorie Taylor Greene didn’t vote with the ousters, and she’s as conservative-voting as anyone there. I’m not at all sure this was a wise move.

We need Party Unity, but not a partnership with liberals to appease the lobbyists. McCarthy was a Swamp creature and lobbyists best friend, just like his friend Ryan is. Maybe Fox has a place for him.

Watch CSpan to hear how Congress is supposed to work for the people. Dems want more largess, more spending and benefits and to tax the Rich out of being rich. They do not care of the consequences. I almost want the Dems to drive this ship but all I’d get is a big fat “I told you so” as we hit the iceberg.

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center, is a New York writer focusing on radical Islam and leftism.

The House Republican mission is not the business of government, but the business of revolution. The Democrats see that as their mission and it’s time that Republicans did too. That will take a wartime party, not peacetime managers. A true wartime party does not collaborate with the enemy. It builds a united front and sets out to win without fearing the other side.

A party like that requires strong leaders who know what is at stake: not hollow men and grifters.

The House GOP doesn’t have a speaker because it doesn’t have a mission. ...

Blistering essay from Daniel Greenfield ... could it be that our Republican "masters" are all geldings? Well worth your time to read.

Ping out to the Daniel Greenfield Ping! List.

As always, please FReepmail me if you want on or off the esteemed Daniel Greenfield ping list.

Mission? Their mission, as it appears to me, is to WASTE OUR MONEY and collude with the Socialist Democrats whenever and wherever possible to denigrate and bypass our Constitution!

If Gowdy hates this, and Newt hates this, and the GOPe hates this, I am 100% on board.

If the house can’t figure out a way to shut down this border thru the power of the purse, then they are worthless imho.

And that’s just table stakes.

Listen to Biggs 7 minute floor speech, that tells me all I need to know.

of voting in Republicans then watching the spineless reps transitioning into Democrats.
