Bryon Donalds for Speaker? Seems like a fresh face, untainted by association to McCarthy, maybe the right person at the right time?

Based on him tossing Pelosi and Hoyer out of their cushy offices I would like to know more about this temporary guy
Is McCarthy going to leave office too? Like RINO Ryan and Boner?
Speaker needs to be a power broker, not a fresh face that doesn’t know what’s what and who’s who.
Scalise would be my first choice, but I know he’s going through cancer treatments and may not be up to the role.
And everybody (myself included) can get the fever dream of Trump being Speaker out of their heads, it ain’t gonna ever happen.
Maybe Front Page better choice, but I’d love to hear what people think about Bryon Donalds as potential speaker.

I’d be okay with Scalise but I worry he would be McCarthy warmed over, Byron Donald would be a fresh face that comes across as fearless, both would be acceptable

In 1997, Donalds was arrested for marijuana distribution; the charges were dropped as part of a pre-trial diversion program. In 2000, he pleaded no contest to a felony bribery charge as part of a scheme to defraud a bank. His record was later sealed and expunged.

Donalds joined the republican party in 2010 based on his involvement with the Tea Party.
Let’s remember that Reagan and Trump were registered Democrats at one time...
