I keep seeing this screed posted everywhere when it concerns Gowdy. Let’s run through a short list and figure out CONSTITUTIONALLY and within the frame of politics what PRECISELY you expected the man to do. So, every night he brought to camera for ALL sleeping, ignorant, lazy citizens the crimes committed by the now known criminal gun running and the famed Hillary laptop which in essence helped get Trump elected. Congress’ job is oversight, budget, pass laws and investigation. Nothing more, nothing less. Every night Gowdy exposed the crimes on television before MILLIONS. He investigated, he shared his findings and came to the conclusion that crimes had been committed. Those with a lack of understanding of the Constitution continue harping the same BS tune “all talk no action.” Here is what Gowdy could not do and what some expected. He can’t gather a Grand Jury, he can’t question those taking the 5th, he isn’t the prosecutor, he isn’t the indicter, he isn’t the judge, he’s not the jury, he doesn’t render sentence, he isn’t the bailiff. He did his job EXACTLY as it was supposed to have been done within the framework of the Constitution. Period, end of story. He uncovered more crimes that even a junior prosecutor out of College could have gotten convictions on. You know it, I know it, the world knows it. The problem is, we had a lazy, ignorant, public that did not apply the pressure necessary to force the hands of an ALL DEMOCRAT GOVERNMENT. Let me repeat that again, Democrat AG, Democrat Senate, Democrat Presidency.

So, pray tell everyone what he was “supposed” to do that would have led to any different outcome. Since his time has anyone been held to account under more favorable circumstances? Nah, it’s just easy to bash Gowdy

And the RINO’s, who still represent a considerable segment of the caucus owe him nothing.

Nope. They should elect someone who can pull the RINO wing of the party as far MAGA as possible. Jordan is better situated to do that than Donalds.
