Don’t put your hat in the ring unless you’re willing to shutdown the government and accept it as a badge of honor. You won’t last 45 days otherwise.

He needs to state WHY, and what he will do WHEN. We don’t have time to play patsy with the Dems.

But if selected, will he wear a suit jacket?

In the past he had said he did not want to be speaker. What changed?

Does becoming a Speaker add more backbone?

He was solidly in McCarthy's corner. We can do a lot better than Jim Jordan. Jim Jordan is McCarthy-Lite.

Not excited. He’s been a non-starter or rather, hasn’t been successful as committee chair. All talk, slow and no action. We need more as speaker. I don’t see him as having gravitas to be a ‘bomb thrower’ and stand firm on positions.

Shutdown the government. Then the negotiations can start. If the next Speaker caves in, he should be replaced. Then we can do the same thing over and over until the election.

I don’t understand all of the years for Jordan. He voted to keep McCarthy.
To: Reno89519
But as committee chair he only has limited power. As speaker he rules.
