PERKIOMEN TWP., Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- The Perkiomen Valley school board passed a controversial bathroom policy on Monday night just weeks after voting it down.
The board for the district in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania voted 5-4 in favor of the measure. Board member Don Fountain, who voted against the policy back in September, voted to approve it Monday.
Policy 720 mandates that students must use restrooms that correlate with their sex assigned at birth. It will prohibit transgender students from using bathrooms that align with their gender identities.
The policy opens single-use bathrooms, previously only available to teachers, to all students and staff regardless of gender.

Here’s another idea: Tell them they are boys or girls, depending on their sex. Their perceived or preferred “gender identity” is irrelevant.
I really hate that phrase. No one is "assigned" a sex at birth. You are born a certain sex. Is reality now a thing of the past?

Sex is observed at birth, it isn’t “assigned”. That makes is sound like the doctor just flips a coin or something.

You are NOT “assigned” sex at birth...Sex is started with insemination of the egg...The chromosomal sex of the embryo is established at fertilization...
It’s observed and recorded.
Babies are not born androgynous like dolls until someone *assigns* them the correct anatomy. They come pre-equipped and people just recognize it.
