“AOG Technics was formed in 2015 and is majority-owned by 35-year-old Jose Zamora Yrala. The company has a few million dollars in assets as of early 2022 and Yrala lists his nationality as Venezuelan on some documents, and British on others. The company has a website, but it appears to be down—not the usual trait of a legitimate business and business owner.”

What could go wrong?

Jose Zamora Yrala should be strapped to the fusilage of a good sized drone (made with real parts) and flown into the face of a cliff somewhere in remote Utah or Arizona.

I was going to say, every part in a plane is identified and numbered. And every numbered part has a supplier. And every supplier has a source, and originator for the physical part. Failing bolts or any other part can be traced back to its origins, even if the last stop is a corrupt supplier in Shanghai with a backyard steel mill making pot-metal parts.
