I see this all over Social Media. Conservative Inc seem to think they can simply impose their dogmas on everyone else. If they don’t get their way immediately, they go into screaming fit mode.
That is not how Congress works. That is not how politics in the US Constitutional Republic works.

Expelling a member of Congress seems to be associated with disorderly behavior which doesn't apply to Gaetz imo.
"Article I, Section 5, Clause 2: Each House may determine the Rules of its Proceedings, punish its Members for disorderly Behavior, and, with the Concurrence of two thirds, expel a Member."
But since we're talking about expelling members of Congress, consider that the next major political event in US is not when hopeful Trump 47 gets reelected for the second time imo, but when Democratic and Republican Trump supporters primary ALL incumbent state and federal lawmakers in 2024 primaries, except for MTG, Gaetz & Company (and others?).
After all, lawmakers and executives continue to show that they do not have the patriotism and leadership skills necessary to find legislative support for effective remedies for unconstitutional government policies.
Constitution-savvy patriots can provide lists of patriots for Trump to choose from to endorse for 2024.
Patriots, let's not allow ourselves to be fooled for third time in 2024 by the corrupt, constitutionally undefined political parties that have pirated control of state and federal governments.
As a side note to this post, consider that probably the main reason that we hear media complaints about the electoral college is the following.
The electoral college is now the only thing stopping the corrupt, constitutionally undefined political parties that have pirated control of state and federal governments from permanently establishing a puppet presidency that will unquestioningly sign unconstitutional taxing and spending bills into law.
Collectively, all of the democrats have caused more harm to the country (not that Gaetz has), so, why not have a vote to expel all democrats from congress. It’s the fair thing to do.
Another thing, doesn’t a Representative have to commit an infraction to get kicked out? Gaetz merely applied a rule that was voted on by the body. On what grounds could he be ejected? I don’t think personal dislike and hate could stand muster.
