Members of Donald Trump’s team are quietly preparing to go on offense against Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as internal campaign polling suggests his expected third party bid could draw more votes from Trump than President Joe Biden in a general election.
Semafor has not independently reviewed the polling. One person close to Trump’s campaign said it showed that Kennedy took more votes from Trump than left-wing independent Cornel West drew from Biden when both were tested.
“It’s single digits, but it’s enough where it counts to make a difference,” the person said. A second person familiar with the polling confirmed their description.
With Trump allies “anxious,” as one supporter put it, his campaign and outside allies are also preparing to release an onslaught of opposition research.

His stance on abortion is that it is always a woman’s choice up until birth. He opposes any federal restrictions on that. His comment in Iowa was contradictory, because in one breath he mentions a woman’s choice and three months, then in the next breath he says it’s the woman’s choice up through birth.

While the race would be much harder against rfk than against almost any of the other visible possible choices, there’s really no stopping Pdjt — he’s got tremendous support (and it grows eith every lie or false charge the DNC commie machine attacks him with. They haven’t figured this out yet but their Goebbels Big Lie and Smear campaign’s backfired and backfired good
Good luck with that. DeSantis is easy for Trump to attack; his followers all pretty much LIKE Trump. Kennedy’s followers are mostly people who MIGHT support Trump on issues, but DON’T like him personally. So every bit of nonsense that he attacks DeSantis with is less credibility for his attacks on Kennedy or Biden.
