My Polish Grandfather was amazed to see a Polish Pope in his lifetime. As a family we loved it and as a person I grew to appreciate JPII.

He is of no consequence and will not be remembered for anything he has wrought. He is like the tribes of Israel who worshipped Baal and Astarte in pkace of the most high God of the Creation who then meted out punishment on them and their progeny.
