Not meaning to diss our Catholic brothers and sisters... but popes are MEN. Frail flesh. I don’t care how many “cardinals” (some of which are queer these days) burn how much white smoke “signifying” “divine” approval of the pope. Popes are still flesh-and-blood men.
Of course they are! Just as the Old Testament Kings chosen by God were human and eventually betrayed the Lord God…I have been reading the OT and find much disappointment in the human failty, especially David and Solomon. So very sad.
God knows that and He is the actual ‘chooser’ of the leader for the Body of Christ.
He chose all those from the beginning of creation to lead His people. He is still in charge and His choice is made.
